Bleacher Report exclusively broadcasts the Canadian Elite Basketball League game live in the United States

Bleacher Report broadcast live the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) game between the Hamilton Honey Badgers and the Scarborough Shooting Stars on Saturday, June 4.

The Shooting Stars list included the multi-talented J Cole, who has now played four games in the CEBL after a previous stint in the Basketball Africa League where he played three games for Rwanda Patriots BBC. Both teams are made up of top professional talent who have experience in the NBA, NBA G League and other top international leagues. The exclusive live-streamed event was only available on the B/R app in the United States and marked the first CEBL event streamed by Bleacher Report.

The game was covered by Rod Black, Warren Wardand Savannah hamilton. It was the Scarborough franchise’s first home game as they faced Hamilton for the first time in CEBL history.

Fans watching on the B/R app were able to use the platform’s functionality to comment on the game in real time with other B/R app users. Bleacher Report also covered and amplified all the action across its most engaged social channels.
